This coffee comes from small-scale farms in Gichichi which is in the Nyeri region located in the highlands of central Kenya.

The coffee is made up of mostly SL28 and SL34 varieties and is processed with the washed process (wet mill). Gichichi is a great example of Kenyan coffees’ unique flavour profile.

Grown at altitudes of 1220-2300 metres above sea level and in fertile volcanic soil, results in a juicy body, a rich sweetness and notes of cherry and blackcurrant.

Best Appreciated: Recommend filter brewing methods but can also be enjoyed as espresso.
